The Eugene School of Karate offers the most unique and exciting birthday party available in the Eugene-Springfield Metroplex. An ESK birthday party is always a huge success. Parents tell us that our parties are the best they've ever had. It's an Extreme Karate Adventure where children participate in a 1 1/2 hour fun and interactive martial arts lesson, Samurai Cake-cutting Ceremony & Pizza Party. We take care of all of the details including invitations, mailings, set-up, clean-up and entertainment. All you have to do is bring your child and your camera and enjoy the fun with them. Interactive Martial Arts Lesson
We provide a group Martial Arts lesson for all who attend the birthday bash. This is a fun-filled karate lesson with the Birthday Child being the Star of the Show by being promoted to Honorary Black Belt for the day! Participants will experience exciting Karate drills and games every child is sure to love!

Pizza Extravaganza
Refreshments and pizza, with your favorite topping, are delivered at the end of the Martial Arts lesson for everyone at the party. A decorated table included with balloons, plates, and napkins.

Super Samurai Cake-cutting Ceremony
First, the Birthday Child receives a Super Samurai headband. Then we sing the Birthday Song in both Japanese and English. After blowing out the candles the Birthday Child (with assistance from the instructor) gets to cut the birthday cake in half with a real samurai sword (don't worry mom it's not dangerous)! And, yes, we provide the Karate cake - to your specifications.

Gift Exchange
As the Birthday Child opens each present the instructor notes the gift and the giver for you. At the end of the party you will receive not only the list of gifts and givers but also the stamped, self-adressed envelopes and thank you cards to go with them. The Thank Yous are all ready to go, just awaiting a personal thank you note from the Birthday Child.

All in the Details
What makes our Birthday Bash so wonderful for the parents is we take care of all the details. Besides providing the invitations and thank you cards, we also do the decorating and clean-up when the party is over as well as providing a Free Trial Program to each child attending the party or a 50 percent off gift certificate for all ESK members.

Can't wait to start? To book a fabulous party, follow these steps:

1. Email us with the date you would like to hold your Super Samurai Birthday Bash to set an appointment.
2. When your date has been confirmed, print out a copy of the Birthday Agreement  and send it to us with the $75 non-refundable deposit. (This is required to lock in the specific date and time.)
3. Next, send us an email with the names and addresses of each participant.
4. Print out a copy of the Permission Slip   for each participant. Have each participant's parent/guardian sign the permission slip. Bring these to the party with you. (Please keep in mind, if a child does not have a permission slip he/she will not be able to participate.)
5. We will then be in contact with you to work out all of the specific details to make this party one to remember for years to come! Be sure to bring your camera to take some memorable photos.
6. Each party includes 1 1/2 hours of fun for up to 15 children. Party Package Pricing:
   • $199.00 (non-members)
   • A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and to receive your invitations.
   • The balance is due in cash the day of the party.
   • Please book early.

Q. Do you have to be a student at Eugene School of Karate to have a party?
A. No. Anyone can have a party.

Q. Does it matter that some people have never done karate before?
A. The party is designed for beginners to give everyone an opportunity to have fun and enjoy the benefits of the martial arts.

Q. Is my child too young?
A. The age of the child can vary, but we do recommend that they be at least 5 years old to really get the most out of the experience.

Q. Does it matter what time we schedule the party?
A. No, but in our experience working with children, we have noticed that kids have a better focus and concentration earlier in the day.
